The Topaz Museum Board is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit dedicated to preserving "the Topaz [War Relocation] site and the history of the internment experience during World War II; to interpret its impact on the internees, their families, and the citizens of Millard County; and to educate the public in order to prevent a recurrence of a similar denial of American civil rights."

The Board owns over 634 acres of the original extents of the Topaz site and it conducts teachers' workshops, holds pilgrimages, and raises awareness of the history of Topaz, which became a National Historic Landmark in 2007.
