February 26, 2013
The Society for California Archaeology (SCA) will be hosting a Public Day at the Berkeley Marina during their 2013 Annual Meeting.

The Public Day will bring together participants from archaeology and related disciplines to engage with and educate the public about California's past. The SCA Public Day events include exhibits, hands-on activities, costumed interpreters, and information on how the public can engage with local archaeology. The day is open to all interested individuals of any age!

CyArk will be participating and will showcase our work around the globe and our local efforts to digitally preserve California's own culture heritage. We will include a demonstration of our educational mobile apps as well as hands-on photogrammetry lessons, so bring your camera!

Some of the other participants include:
• Golden Gate National Recreation Area
• California Archaeological Site Stewardship Program
• San Francisco State
• Presidio Archaeology Lab
• Santa Cruz Archaeological Society
• Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail
• UC Berkeley's Archaeological Research Facility
• Center for Archaeological Research at Davis

Please join CyArk's Justin Barton at the CyArk booth!
