Thank you for visiting Mount Rushmore with CyArk! We had an amazing time at the Founders’ Day Celebration in Washington D.C. and hope you are ready to continue your adventure at home. 

While we get back to work creating new Virtual Reality (VR) experiences to share with you, we want to show you some of the many ways you can explore CyArk’s archive of Cultural Heritage sites.

Tinkercad, from Autodesk is a simple, online 3D design and 3D printing tool for everyone. Whether you're a designer, hobbyist, teacher, or kid, you can use Tinkercad to make toys, prototypes, home decor,

Minecraft models, or jewelry – the list is truly endless! The Tinkercad website is packed with helpful tutorials and more than 30 million user-generated models.


The models you saw printing at the Founders Day Celebration in Washington D.C. can all be found publicly available at the CyArk Tinkercad page. Adjust, scale and add your own designs to create something uniquely yours.

Virtual Reality Viewers

Today, there are a number of high-end virtual reality headsets on the market including; Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Playstation VR and Samsung Gear VR. CyArk’s experiences will soon be released publicly for these platforms.

However, if you are new to virtual reality, Google Cardboard is an excellent and inexpensive way to get started with VR. As the cardboard experience works with almost any Android or iOS smartphone, simply place your phone in the back of the viewer and begin exploring.

As the fastest growing repository of 3d content on the web, Sketchfab is the leading platform to publish and locate 3d content.

The Sketchfab interface allows viewers to move freely around or inside the 3D scene using mouse or touch manipulation. In addition to static 3D models, the viewer is also able to play and control 3D animations and as of 2016, visitors to the site can also view the models in Virtual Reality.
