CyArk is in the running for a $10,000 advertising grant from Facebook!

If won, this grant could drastically help increase our social media presence to spread the word of our mission and foster advocacy for the digital preservation and dissemination of our cultural heritage.

In order to win the grant, we must receive the most "Likes" on our Facebook page ( of any of the eligible, competing non-profits. The deadline for racking up fans is the end of March.

Go to and hit the LIKE button

(the little 'thumbs up' at the top).

If the button isn't there, you already Like us. Good Job! And thank you for the support!

But please don't stop there!

The best thing to do is to SHARE the page with the Facebook friends you think will be interested in learning more about CyArk and our mission by following us. You can recommend these people also Like us. To do this, go to the CyArk Facebook page (, scroll down on the left side column and hit the Share link.

From here you will have several options on how you can share us with your Facebook friends. The Share window will say, by default, "Share: On your own timeline", and you can click there to choose other options, including sending a private message to select friends rather than posting to your timeline/wall.

You can also include a unique comment. We recommend asking your friends go to our page and Like the page as you have done (but to Like the CyArk page, not the wall posting itself!)

We have one month to get all the Likes we can from our mission supports. Please help us!

Thank you!
