Elephanta Caves

In 2023 CyArk, partnered with the India Study Center in Mumbai to digitally document the main cave within the Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located outside of Mumbai. The project employed LiDAR and photogrammetry to capture the entire cave structure with exceptional accuracy, resulting in a highly detailed 3D model. This comprehensive digital data supports ongoing preservation efforts and is the foundation for an interactive online educational experience hosted on Tapestry. This experience includes engaging video interviews with community members and academic experts, offering rich insights into this monumental site that symbolizes dedication and faith.
