Plaza de Tres Culturas, Tlatelolco

The Plaza de las Tres Culturas: Digital Documentation & Storytelling of Mexico City's Heritage program was supported through the Ambassador's Fund For Cultural Preservation. The project is designed to build awareness and encourage the protection of the cultural legacy of Tlatelolco through a series of workshops and 3D documentation efforts of the principal structures in the plaza. In 2022 CyArk provided training in 3D documentation and digital storytelling to young professionals in Mexico City who worked with CyArk to document the site and develop a virtual tour. The dataset acts both as a comprehensive point-in-time inventory of the Plaza today as well as an educational experience that describes the many important events that took place there.
