The Rapid Emergency Documentation (RED) program implemented by CyArk and supported by the Aliph Foundation was successfully implemented in Bangladesh, demonstrating how 3D digital documentation can support disaster resilience in locations impacted by climate change. The program successfully trained 18 students and faculty from three universities in Bangladesh who demonstrated their expertise and mastery of the presented concepts via a disaster simulation where they successfully completed every step of the methodology in under 48 hours. Students planned and executed digital documentation projects resulting in accurate 3D models and architectural drawings which could be used to support conservation activities. Six historic sites were documented by the workshop participants, including three structures located within two World Heritage sites, providing detailed and measurable baseline data on their current state of conservation.
